Pimentón de la Vera (Paprika of La Vera), a genuinely handmade product, unique in its concept and production process, is proud to have achieved the category of “Protected Denomination of Origin”. Pimentón de la Vera is resulting from grinding red peppers of Ocales, Jaranda, Jariza, Jeromin varieties and Bola. It is grown and produced in the region of La Vera, Caceres Province, Spain. 
The La Vera Paprika is a product of taste and smoked flavour due to drying peppers oak smoke. Its colour is red with relative brightness. It has great colouring power, greater variety in Ocales that variety Bola. The flavour, aroma and colour are stable given the slow drying process used in its development.
